Overview: Our client, an ASX-listed mineral exploration company, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the business following its acquisition of several world-class late-stage uranium exploration projects. These assets are situated in globally recognised tier-one uranium jurisdictions, presenting significant growth and value-creation opportunities.
This role is based in Perth, Western Australia, with a focus on steering the company’s global exploration and development strategy.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to position the company as a leading uranium company;
- Oversee the advancement of newly acquired projects, ensuring their transition through exploration, feasibility and development stages;
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government authorities and strategic partners;
- Oversee capital-raising initiatives to fund exploration and development activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives;
- Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation;
- Represent the company in ASX reporting, investor presentations and public forums to enhance its profile and communicate milestones;
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental and governance standards across project jurisdictions.
Required Experience: - Proven experience as a CEO, 2IC or in senior technical leadership roles within uranium companies;
- In-depth knowledge of uranium markets, exploration methodologies and development challenges/opportunities;
- Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to motivate and align teams to achieve organisational goals;
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed in diverse global jurisdictions, managing regulatory and operational complexities;
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building long-term partnerships.
