Overview:
Our client, an ASX-listed mineral exploration company, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the business following its acquisition of several world-class late-stage uranium exploration projects. These assets are situated in globally recognised tier-one uranium jurisdictions, presenting significant growth and value-creation opportunities.
  
This role is based in Perth, Western Australia, with a focus on steering the company’s global exploration and development strategy.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to position the company as a leading uranium company;
  • Oversee the advancement of newly acquired projects, ensuring their transition through exploration, feasibility and development stages;
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government authorities and strategic partners;
  • Oversee capital-raising initiatives to fund exploration and development activities, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives;
  • Lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation;
  • Represent the company in ASX reporting, investor presentations and public forums to enhance its profile and communicate milestones;
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental and governance standards across project jurisdictions.
Required Experience:
  • Proven experience as a CEO, 2IC or in senior technical leadership roles within uranium companies;
  • In-depth knowledge of uranium markets, exploration methodologies and development challenges/opportunities;
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to motivate and align teams to achieve organisational goals;
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed in diverse global jurisdictions, managing regulatory and operational complexities;
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building long-term partnerships.
