Mineral Processing

Mineral processing is a crucial element of a successful mining operation, involving the extraction of metals and minerals from ore and their refinement into marketable products. Efficient metallurgical processes result in higher recovery rates, maximising the resource's value and the company's profitability. It guarantees product quality, meeting market standards and customer needs. Furthermore, effective metallurgy and minerals processing help reduce costs, enhance resourcefulness, and promote environmental sustainability by optimising energy and water use, minimising waste, and reducing environmental impacts.

The Processing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the plant to ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and within budget. They oversee plant performance, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. The Processing Manager also leads the plant personnel, including hiring, training, and supervising staff, as well as ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
